One eats with their eyes first and when its diet food the challenge to make it look more appealing is herculean.
This being my first food post here on the group, I have kept it simple; actually most of the times a simple, freshly made, hot dish is all it takes to enjoy diet food .

 

Ingredients:

100 gm cottage cheese or paneer diced
1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
1 tsp of tandoori masala
a dash of edible red colour (optional )
Kasoori methi
1 tbs of fresh cream
1/2 tsp of lemon juice
Salt to taste
1/2 cup of big chunks of bell pepper /capsicum
chopped fresh coriander to garnish
Method: Take the tandoori masala, red colour, ginger garlic, kasuri methi, salt, lime juice and cream in a bowl and mix well. Add the Paneer pieces and rub the marinade all over. Keep aside for 10 mins

Take a pan, when hot add the marinade into it. Saute over high flame for around 4-5 mins, stirring regularly. When the moisture dries up a bit ,add the diced bell peppers into the pan and further cook for just a wee bit. I left the peppers a bit under cooked as i like the crunch it adds to the dish. Take it out in a serving dish ,garnish with chopped coriander and grated paneer. Serve hot!
